Tide, the most trusted brand in laundry, came to us seeking a refresh of their immensely popular product line, Tide pods. As they recently updated the form of the pod, the refresh would abandon their previous cues of efficacy and celebrate the pod itself. Gone were the blocks of orange shelves that were topped with radiating shapes, glows of activation, and lens flares. Tide sought a more concise visual that would reflect their new vis ID. It would highlight the pod, capturing the richness of the liquid, its bubbles and natural lighting. I was tasked with rendering the design sketches. My meticulous attention to detail and dedication to realism facilitate clients in fully envisioning the potential and tangible presence of their brand in the real world.
